Your First Visit
At your first visit you will be greeted with a smile. We will take a complete set of dental x-rays and review your medical and dental history. The doctor will perform a comprehensive oral evaluation of your teeth, gums, and all existing dental restorations. We will also perform an oral cancer screening using a specialized tool called VIZILITE.
For your safety, unusual appearance of any soft tissue in the mouth including the lips, tongue, palate, gums, and floor of the mouth may be referred to the oral surgeon for evaluation. For many, we will do a well-care cleaning but others who present with periodontal disease may need further gum treatment. The doctor will review all significant findings and formulate an individual dental treatment plan uniquely designed for you.
At this visit, Dr. Thomasian will answer any questions and concerns you may have. Our staff members will assist you with payment options to help you achieve your dental goals.
